Blueberry is an experimental opensource jQuery image slider plugin esponsive web layouts.

What is Blueberry?

Blueberry is an experimental opensource jQuery image slider plugin which has been written specifically to work with fluid/responsive web layouts.

A brief history

With the popularity of smart phones and tablet devices responsive/fluid web layouts have become an important part of modern web design.

Working on a new project I decided to use the 1140px grid from cssgrid.net. The design I was working on included a large image slider on the front page. As I set about choosing a jQuery plugin to use, I started to realise that very few are compatible with responsive/flexible layouts (at least not without some hacking) as most require a fixed width.

Camera slideshow responsive jQuery slideshow

HI THERE. First of all excuse me for my bad english, second excuse me if you will find some bugs on Camera slideshow. I developed it for free, so it’s not easy to find the time to work on it. If you want to help me with a donation I’ll appreciate 🙂

Camera slideshow is an open source project, based on Diapo slideshow (http://www.pixedelic.com/plugins/diapo, no more supported, sorry), but improved a lot. You can suggest changes or improvements if you want. You can download it and use for free, you can also include it in your projects and sell it as part of a bigger work (in this case please consider a donation).

ResponsiveSlides.js Simple & lightweight responsive slider plugin

ResponsiveSlides.js is a tiny jQuery plugin that creates a responsive slider using elements inside a container. It has been used on sites like Microsoft’s Build 2012 and Gridset App. ResponsiveSLides.js works with wide range of browsers including all IE versions from IE6 and up. It also adds css max-width support for IE6 and other browsers that don’t natively support it. Only dependency is jQuery (1.6 and up supported) and that all the images are same size.

Biggest difference to other responsive slider plugins is the file size (1.4kb minified and gzipped) + that this one doesn’t try to do everything. Responsive Slides has basically only two different modes: Either it just automatically fades the images, or operates as a responsive image container with pagination and/or navigation to fade between slides.

FlexSlider An awesome, fully responsive jQuery slider toolkit.

A little information about FlexSlider

About FlexSlider

FlexSlider was built to serve up the best responsive jQuery slider around. I had built a few implementations of responsive sliders on different client projects and noticed that there was a glaring hole for plugin support with the concept. I wanted to build a plugin that would serve the newest of beginners, while providing seasoned developers a tool they could use with confidence. What has come forth is this, FlexSlider. I plan to maintain this plugin and provide support to users implementing FlexSlider into their sites. Responsive web design can be tricky, but I hope that FlexSlider serves to uncomplicate the process, just a little bit.
